After an exhaustive search involving over 40 potential suppliers, we found Greenblendz. Their quality, pricing and service level was far beyond anyone else we saw throughout the country. Now we are operating as partners in every sense of the word.
Our History
Greenblendz was founded by Steve Berry in November, 2008 with a straightforward plan to bring successful manufacturing of eco-friendly, sustainable products to Michigan. After contacting the State of Michigan with the plan, Greenblendz was awarded with a MEGA tax incentive through the MEDC and also personal and property tax credits from the City of Auburn Hills. With the help of a small group of investment partners the equipment and materials were purchased and installed in 2009 and the orders began to flow in…we’re that good.
Amongst those that called, was an innovative, Michigan-based brand originally from New Zealand called ecoSTORE USA. This brand had tremendous quality in their formulas, but needed a domestic producer to bridge the cost and supply chain gap and reduce their carbon footprint. With a commitment to collaborate on a large number of SKU’s to supply their exclusive partners Meijer and Duane Reade, Greenblendz effectively matched their formulations and sourced ingredients and packaging locally to fit their image.
In December of 2009, greenblendz was acquired by Belfor Property Restoration to further advance our capabilities, secure financial potency and serve the captive needs of the group of companies Belfor owns that all are greening up their product mix.
Recently, the headquarters for Greenblendz and ecoSTORE USA moved in together in a beautifully remodeled building next door to Greenblendz original plant. This move greatly enhances the space available to prepare for our next stage of growth with more spectacular people, equipment and clients.
